ICP Announces Phased Police Clearance Certificate Requirement for Selected Nationalities

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a new Police Clearance Certificate requirement for applicants of selected nationalities applying for certain UAE visa services.

Under the updated regulation, affected applicants must submit a Good Conduct Certificate, also known as a Police Clearance Certificate, issued by the relevant authority in their home country. The certificate must be duly attested by the UAE Embassy or UAE Consulate in the country of issuance, or by the designated UAE diplomatic mission responsible for that country.

The Free Zones Authority of Ajman has advised customers and stakeholders to review the new requirements carefully before submitting their UAE visa applications.
